Patriots' Run - An Annual Event to Commemorate the Tragic Events of September 11, 2001

This Years Run

SALVATION ARMY DINNER

The Salvation Army Pre-Race dinner kicks off the event. The dinner is held each year the night before the run.

This years Kick-Off Pasta Dinner will be at the Olathe Holiday Inn at 101 West 151st Street, Olathe, KS 66061. The Dinner will included a Silent Auction with all proceeds going to the Salvation Army.

The dinner starts at 6:00 pm and runs until 8:00 pm. The runners in Afghanistan will start as our evening winds down at 8:00 pm.

For tickets or more information contact Mindia McManness, Community Resource Coordinator for the Salvation Army at 913-782-3640 ext. 232. Tickets are $9.11 each and will be sold on a first come, first serve basis.

RACE DAY (9/11/10)

NEW THIS YEAR!

The race will be held at the Great Mall in Olathe Kansas with lots of the stores in the mall participating. There will be games for the kids, refreshments, medals and lots more!!

The Great Mall of the Great Plains is located at 151st Street and 169 Highway in Olathe, Ks.

*T-shirts for all participants. Finishers medals in both marathon and ultra-marathon.*

Through the funds raised by this event a donation is made to The Salvation Army in Olathe.

BJ the DJ, one of the originators of the event, donates his entire day to help keep us energized with great music. He is a fixture in Metro running and adds enthusiasm to keep us all going.

Dr. Brett Dworkis of Performance Chiropractic will be with us again to keep the runners on the track.

The Olathe Chamber of Commerce provides support and posts the event on their web site. Members of the Chamber sponsor the run and volunteer to make it possible. This Chamber of Commerce truly is one of the best in the nation.

The registration form is available for download here. PLEASE DO NOT MAIL THE FORMS AS OF 9/4/2010. Bring them to packet pick up on 9/10 at The Holiday Inn, 101 W. 151st St., Olathe, KS from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm or race day starting at 10:00 am. You can register on-line with Acitve.com up until 9/9.

At the registration section you can download a mail-in entry form or go here to active.com to register online.
